Requirements

General Training Requirements

  • 1 valid ID
  • Seafarer's Registration Number (SRN)
  • Down payment or full payment
  • For courses other than BT, see the Additional Training Requirements

Additional Training Requirements

  • All courses (except BT) need a BT COP or Training Certificate
  • ATCT and ATOT need a BTOC COP or Training Certificate
  • ATLG needs a BTLG COP or Training Certificate
  • MECA needs a MEFA COP or Training Certificate
  • FRB needs a SCRB COP or Training Certificate
  • Refresher courses need a valid COP of the training to be revalidated
  • AB Deck needs a RFPNW COP and at least 12 months of sea service experience
  • AB Engine needs a RFPEW COP and at least 12 months of sea service experience
  • CROWD needs a STPP training certificate
  • CRISIS needs a STPP training certificate and a CROWD training certificate
  • CRS-HULL needs STPP, CROWD, and CRISIS training certificates

Training inclusions are a polo shirt, maritime photo, basic medical exam, and transportation to the practicum site for courses with practicum.
